6th Grade Art

  • NOTE: Pushed turn in date to Friday Finish Shattered Shading Project (Due at end of class) 
  • Turn in an image of your project AND Shading notes/practice from the videos shown last week to the Canvas Assignment)
• Friday
  • Moved to next week Intro Form Shading Project (Due TBD- after fall break)
  • If you are finished early- watch the videos added to part 2 or try doing the activity in the video posted in Part 3
    

8th Grade Art

• Note about Mandala Project: have project ready to turn in before we get back from Thanksgiving Break: December 1st. I'll go over how to submit it then ;-)

  • Mandala Project Work Day 3/5 - have all pencil work completed by end of class
• Thursday
  • Mandala Project Work day 4/5- should be working on inking and finalizing linework, maybe start adding some extra details, start on polishing and adding color. Remember you have one more day in class to work on this project ;-)

Ceramics Beginning and IPA

  • Submit Cup 1 Formal Assignment (READ SUBMISSION DIRECTIONS ON THE CANVAS ASSIGNMENT you have full class to submit, you will need most of the time to complete it)
• Wednesday (A) / Thursday (B)
  • Start Cup 2 Planning- read all the stuff for the project, creative process, watch the video and start the worksheet linked there too- it doesn't need to be finished. We'll do that next time. You'll find everything you need by clicking on the "Click here" link above and scrolling down to the Cup 2 stuff ;-)
• Friday (A) / Monday (B)
  • Finish planing and start making cup 2 (will be due 11/23 & 11/24)

    • Bonus points for starting a moquette for help with pitch
