Elements of Art

It helps to know where the edges are so you can really think "outside the box". The Elements, Principe's, Art history, and other tricks of the trade, help you understand what those edges are, how to use them to your advantage, avoid the disadvantages, and maybe even go beyond the box.

E.o.A. Booklet Project Overview

General Instructions:
  • Check Canvas or the Class Blog for info on what is due when.
  • The notes will help you understand the information that needs to be in them and how to do the drawing activities in the booklet. Booklets are organized by level of understanding.
  • Each level goes a little more in depth for each Element and expectations for quality of work increases as well.
  • If you have already been introduced to the Elements keep all of them in mind when creating your designs throughout the entire booklet.
Evaluation of Work:
  • As long as you are showing improvement you are doing great! Remember it's the Keys To Success: Skill, Craftsmanship, Creativity, and Effort that will help you get your skills up to the next level.
