Note, this is my first year covering the Metals and Fibers curriculum. I've been working with the Fiber art for almost 30 years and Metal fabrication for about 20 but not as extensively as fibers. So be ready for Units to shift and change as we go, feel free to suggest topics you'd like to cover or avoid ;-)

Semester 1: Fiber Arts

  2. Paper Sculpting and Book Arts
  3. Weaving
  4. Dyeing
Semester 2: Metals
  1. Wire Unit
  2. Sheet Metal Unit
  3. Enameling
  4. Fused Glass 

Advanced Section

After the Who I Am unit, you are welcome to follow along with the IP units or develop a personal art investigation series. 
  1. Submit Series Proposal
  2. Submit weekly progress documentation with annotations.
  3. Produce minimum of 1 finished piece every 4 weeks.
  4. Create a final Art Statement
