Below is a simple handout that can help guide you through the critiquing process. If you are writing your critique a good general guideline is to
1. Use complete sentences 2. Each section can be a paragraph 3. Avoid only using ambiguous words! Instead follow them up with WHY you think it is interesting, good, perfect, ect. 4. Proofread it! make sure it says what you were intending to say. Remember punctuation helps a reader under "hear" what you wrote like you were saying it to them- its the reason your teachers want you to know it. Also it makes it easier to read. |
