- Any work left after 6/7 is assumed to be abandoned and will be thrown out to make room for next years work
Last day for Greenware (ceramics): project must be IN kiln room by end of day Friday May 10th or won't have time to glaze fire.
Last day for Glazing(ceramics): project must be IN kiln room by end of day Friday May 17th or won't have time to be fired before last day of regular classes.
Reviews for End of Year/Grade Exams will be May 20-22 and practice exams May 23 (A) and May 24th (B)

Monday: Last workday for building your african mask. Will Underglaze them Thursday May 2nd so be ready!
- African Mask Notes
- 8th Grade Art Questionnaire (Need filled out ASAP- will close Wednesday Midnight
  - 8th Grade Visual Arts End of Year Party: May 17th during A2
  - Need to earn 70% or higher in ALL your classes for Q4 to be able to attend. There will be a permission form you will need all your teachers to fill out before May 17th

- Clayworks Student Google Form - African Masks
- Watercolor Unit Day 1
- Complete 8th Grade questionnaire if you haven't already!
Friday: Paper Sculpting Practice Project
- Due Date: TBD (~ 2-3 workdays)
- Requirements:
  - Create Box Base (demo in class)
  - Add a Slits-Slot Tree (trace)
  - Add Basic House (Trace)
  - Embellish with all the other basic techniques seen in the link above.
  - Creative Challenge: Create a theme and/or decorate the box interior

B4 Ceramics IPA

Final Ceramics Project Planning.
- Intermediate: Complete Lawn Gnome Packet.pdf Word Doc Presentation R.A.F.T. Writing
- Proficient-Advanced - pitch your own project idea- need to demonstrate 1 full class period for exploring and creating design (Brainstorming, Researchs, and Sketches)
Monday:Groups 1 and 2 glazing day; Groups 3-4 work on Packet/Planning
Wednesday: Groups 1 and 2 work on Packet/Planning; Groups 3-4 work on Glazing

Targeted Tuesday- Check Grades/Canvas, get school work done/caught up, SSR time if everything is done and grades are up.
Wellbeing Wednesday- Explore the 7 Mindsets
Thinking Thursday- "How to School" tip of the week- Ms. Schmit will be checking your grades! remember she'll step in to help you if want or if you have <75% for any class. Share recommendations for Monday/Wednesday Videos with Ms. S.
Reflection Friday- Check Grades/Canvas, get school work done/caught up, SSR time if everything is done and grades are up. Focus Conferences with Ms. Schmit.
