-NWSA Visual Arts Student Showcase: Opening event Thursday 11/30 @ 6:30 in the Auditorium Gallery. All students have had the opportunity to present artwork made at NWSA so far. The show will run through at least the rest of 1st Semester and can be seen during any events in the auditorium between now and then as well.
-8th Grade Visual Art Field Trip: Students must return permission form signed and be passing all of classes (60% or higher) by Friday 12/1/23 to be able to go ;-). If you still need a permission slip see Ms. Schmit for another copy ;-) Also if any parents interested in Chaperoning- email Ms. Schmit for next steps.
A1/A2 Ceramics Beginning Beginning Coil Unit
Elements of Art Booklet- this reviews of all visual language and most skills that will be evaluated on the Midterm exam. If this wasn't finished in class then it's homework. Do your best to get it submitted by Friday December 1st to receive feedback intime to study ;-)
Back to Basics Unit- reminder to follow the content posted as we go, keep all your work! There will be a Submission Template posted at the end of the unit for you submit everything on Canvas.
The future is here and to help our students take their skills to the next level the Visual Arts Department is looking to bring in 21st Century Technology by implementing a Glowforge Aura. This particular Donors Choose Project will help us cover the cost of the machine and some supplies to help us get started utilizing it.
