Advanced Visual Art Sections:

• If you need instructions for your Portfolio Proposal again click HERE.
• First Advanced Project Due: October 8th (moved it out for you ;-).
• 2nd Project will be due before end of the month- start panning now.

7th Grade Art

• Continue Working on Wilson's instructions or Schmit's instruction- just need to be following one or the other! If you're following Schmit's stuff, it's posted with 2-D MMA and Printmaking ;-)

8th Grade Art and B117 Visual Art Beginning

• Fill out this form asap!
• Continue Mondal Unit
  • Planning for your project should be complet!
  • Start blocking in your project
    • complete up through Day 8 by end of the week; completed project due end of class Oct. 15
  • Turn in progress image at the end of each class period!
• 8th Grade Audition Reminder
  • Check canvas for an assignment about this. Fill it out ASAP!
  • ALL 8th grade students who wish to continue at NWSA for High School MUST pass a High School audition AND must enter the lottery for the corresponding NWSA program!

B-117 2D MMA IP,Printmaking IP and Some 7th Grade Art:

• If you've been following Willson's Directions- keep doing so, just let us both know which you're doing ;-)
• Take a day this week to get work caught up and uploaded to Google Classrooms
• Next week we'll continue the"Choose Your Own Art-venture" series with the Element of Art: Form. If you get everything caught up, go ahead and start on this so you can get some extra 
  • Make sure you are completing all parts of instructions or you will risk losing some major points later when we grade your work- just a heads up.
  • Make sure you are collecting images of your progress and organizing them in a google doc of your choice. Be ready for more instructions for what to do with them next week.

Ceramics Beginning- (1A and 2A)

• Coil Building Unit
  • ​Complete Main Coild Project by the end of the week. Make sure you upload progress images at the end of each work days
  • Big Coil Project Due Fri. Oct. 8th

Ceramics IPA- 

• Continuing Contrast Container Unit.
  • Project due at end of the week- Thrus. Oct. 8th, plan wisely!
    • Take progress images at the end of each class and upload to daily work assignment on canvas
    • If you think you'll get done early plan to make a set or start thinking of how to make design more intricate as you work on it. 

​Metals and Fibers IPA & Sculpture IPA-

• Paper Sculpting Unit 
  • Sculpture: Paper Project Due at the end of this week Fri. Oct 15th
  • Metals/Fibers: Paper Prj. Due Mon. Oct. 18th by end of class.
    • keep in mind  Wednesday is an early release day.
    • If it looks like you'll complete it early or late start applying your contingency plan- you are expected to utilize full building time given. 

AP Art History
