General Announcements

• No School for Students Monday 9/26
• Wednesday 9/28 2 hour Delay Schedule (link will only work if you're logged into chrome with your school account)
• Check your grades! Q1 midterm progress reports are this week. Any work submitted after Tuesday next week will be graded but probably won't get graded in time for progress reports. Not sure how/when specifically they will go out but I'll update here as I get more info.
• Reminder- Keep ALL your work for my class. It all eventually gets turned in using templates for Rehearse or Perform assignments. Make sure you are doing something to keep everything organized!

Classwork

A1/A2 Ceramics Beginning- Texture Boxes finished this week!

• Wednesday- Cut lids off, add lip, clean up inside, sign, and put in kiln room by end of week at latest!
• Friday: Complete Line Booklet (starting Coil Project Unit); if you use this day for finishing up your texture box, this will become homework ;-)

A3 Sculpture IPA- Paper Sculpture Project Due at end of Week

• Paper Sculpture Unit 1 PLANNING template- fill out and submit asap.
• Paper Sculpture Unit 2 PLANNING Template- fill out and submit asap ;-)
• Wednesday; continue making progress on Paper Sculpture Project
• Friday: Last work day in class to complete Paper Sculpture Project

B1 Metals/Fibers IPA

• Tuesday:  Read/listen Article for Warm-up, write reflection; Make Palm Leaf and Scroll books due by end of class
• Thursday: Japanese Stab Binding books due by end of class

B2 8th Grade Art- Rewiring Our Brains Unit

• Tuesday: Left/Right Brain Visual Notes
• Thursday: Upside Down Drawing Assignment
