Thursday May 13- In-person people go to the Auditorium today, try to login to zoom but if it won't let you in check Canvas Inbox for a message from me for more instructions and the attendance link.

Important Stuff

  • High School Art show is up! Check it out - Click Here
  • Wednesdays are now regular school days
  • All Students in Schmit's Classes: 
    • Fired Projects can be picked up 5/19-21
    • 5/19 Last Day for Late/Regrade work NEXT WEDNESDAY
    • 5/21 Last day for Drop Off Materials and Collect work
  • Ceramics People
    • Tools and leftover clay can be dropped off whenever the school building is open to teachers (usually Mon, Tues, Thus, Fri 9am-4pm)
    • Put Tools in a bag with your name on it so you get credit for turning them in.
6th Grade- In-person people: have watercolor supplies on campus starting Thursday- remember you have to carry them with you throughout the day! I can't store them in the classroom this year. 
Formal Portrait Template- Open and make a copy to be able to work with it
  • Tuesday: Complete Day 1 stuff on Watercolor Unit- turn in image of progress on daily work assignment on canvas
  • Thursday: Complete as much of the Day 2 Stuff as you can on watercolor unit- turn in image of progress on daily work assignment on canvas.
    • ​If you can't use your watercolors, write down notes name and describe how to do the techniques they show you. Just add the notes to the vocabulary notes from earlier. Turn that in for your daily work assignment today.

    • Plan of Action Due before you start making project but due no later than this Friday, May 14th.
  • Wednesday (B)/Thursday(A)/Friday(B)-
    • Work day for Final Project, turn in image of progress by end of class to daily work assignment
      • ​If you can't work on sculpting today: pick an aspect of your project and look more into it. For example: if you project is inspired by Rick and Morty- look into how the show was created and what inspired it, what did the people who created it do before the show, etc. Basically look for other "inside joke" kind of things you might be interested in adding into your project for super fans of the content.
  • Friday(A)-Friday LAST DAY FOR Final Plan of Action
Sculpture IPA
  • Tuesday- Work day for Final Project- Click here for requirements, turn in image of progress by end of class to daily work assignment.
  • Plan of Action Due before you start making project, but due no later than this Friday, May 14th.
  • Thursday- Work day for final project- Plan of action Due no later than tomorrow (Friday)
