• Last Day for Q4 Late/Regrade work and take ALL your work home: Friday May 17th ( 2 weeks out)
  
• • Any work left after 6/7 is assumed to be abandoned and will be thrown out to make room for next years work
• Last day for Greenware (ceramics): project must be IN kiln room by end of day Friday May 10th or won't have time to glaze fire.
• Last day for Glazing(ceramics): project must be IN kiln room by end of day Friday May 17th or won't have time to be fired before last day of regular classes.
• Reviews for End of Year/Grade Exams will be May 20-22 and practice exams May 23 (A) and May 24th (B)

  • Requirements:
    • Create Box Base (demo in class)
    • Add a Slits-Slot Tree (trace)
    • Add Basic House (Trace)
    • Embellish with all the other basic techniques seen in the link above.
    • Creative Challenge: Create a theme and/or decorate the box interior

• Thursday: Finish African Masks with Clay works - brainstorm designs for warm up and then Underglaze. Submit images of your mask and warm up to the African Mask Project assignment on Canvas by end of class.
