General Announcements 

  • Friday May 5th is Ceramics last day for Greenware if you want it fired.
  • Reviews for Ceramics classes will start next week
  • M 101 will be the “main” AP mobile room so that’s where students report each morning to be assigned to their test location in the mobiles.

Classwork 

Advanced Sections
  • Check to make sure you have all work in - remember if canvas will still let you submit work you can still do it. No points are taken off for late work, just get them in!
  • More instructions will be posted here throughout the week, so check back every day ;-)
A1/A2 Ceramics Beginning
  • Last day in class to work on mask: Wednesday May 4th!
  • Critique will be Friday May 6th- have project ready to put on kiln shelf after critique!
A2 AP Art History
  • AP Exam Fri. May 6, 2022 11:30 – 4:30pm; have a ride lined up for afterschool incase full exam time is needed. Otherwise you might not make it out intime to catch your bus. Only need to show up for exam time, but don't be late!
  • Monday: Review exam layout and go over tips and tricks to being more successful
  • Wednesday: Writing workshop for long and short form Essay questions.
A3 Sculpture IPA
  • Work on Wire Project- last workday in class (Tuesday May 10th, critique will be on May 12th so plan accordingly)
B1 Metals/Fibers IPA
  • Work on Wire Project- last workday in class (May 11th, critique will be on May 12th so plan accordingly)
B2 8th Grade Art
  • Repousse Unit- Planning Practice due by end clas Tuesday
  • Project Planning due by end of class Thursday
  • Keep in mind: You'll have 3 classes total to complete Repousse Project and critique will be May 17th
B4 Ceramics IPA
  • Last day in class to work on mask: Wednesday May 5th!
  • Critique will be Monday May 9th- have project ready to put on kiln shelf after critique!
B4 7th Grade Art
  • Check Canvas and make sure you have all work submitted- remember all Rehearse and Perform assignments can still be submitted. Check with Mr. Raed or Ms. Schmit if you think those assignments are locked. Remember Prepare assignments will stay locked though.
  • Last day for Late/Regrade work: May 27th!
