NWSA Spring Student Art Showcase coming up
- Artwork submission deadline: Feb 18th
  - Form submitted AND Artwork on campus by Feb.18 th
    - Spring 2022 Submission Form

A1/A2 Ceramics Beginning

3D Tile Unit;
- How to video 1 How to video 2
  - Monday Project Work Day 2/4; get image transferred to tile and build up main 3D Forms
  - Wednesday Project Work Day 3/4 (early release); Refine 3D forms and make sure you have Foreground, Middle Ground and Background well defined
  - Friday Project Work Day 4/4; Add textures and complete finishing work (trim edges and carve thicker parts out from the back)

- How to Start Sculpting a Face Video
- Monday: Progress check on Massing in Features due at end of class
- Wednesday: Silent Critique on Bust Proportions
- Friday: Refining Facial features 1/2 days (Be ready for another Progress check next week)

B1 Metals and Fibers

Intro to Metal Arts Assignment (last week)
Repousse Experiment Template (and instructions)
- Continue and complete Repousse Experiment Template. Thursday will be last day in class to work on it. Anything you don't get done by then is homework. Be ready to turn in the Rehearse assignment at the beginning of class on Monday.
- Esther Bar Interview
  - Follow up Questions
    1. What is her theme for her body of work overall?
    2. How is her process different than traditional repousse?
    3. How is her process similar to regular repousse?
    4. What "ah-ha" moments or surprises or things you hadn't thought about before (ps check out her artwork sizes)?
    5. Draw one of art pieces (google image search to find bigger images of her pieces)

B2 8th Grade Art

Alternative Self Portrait Unit
- Complete Part 7 and Part 8 by end
- Be ready to to turn in ALL work you did for planning out your Alternative Self Portrait Thursday this week
