General Announcments

• All Visual Arts Students Fill this Visual Art Courses Request Form out for next year. Needs to be completed only once. Fill it out by Feb. 16th.
• Spring Student Art Show: submissions Due Feb. 10th- everyone needs to submit at least 1 class project- no more than 3
• Wednesday is an Early Release Day
• Current NWSA 8th Grade majors: Last day for Midterm/Portfolio improvement to be guaranteed a spot is this Sunday 2/12 by 11:59

Class Work

A1/A2 Ceramics Beginning  More Cups Unit

• Monday- Cup 2 Panning Due, Project work day 3/3
• Wednesday- Glazing Day and Submit Cup 2 Perform Assignment- Basically a "Fix your Grade Day"
• Friday- Start Pinch Pot Unit- info on Ms. Hall's site

A3 Sculpture IPA Everything Wire Unit

• Monday- Complete Chain Challenge 3 (pendent) by end of class
• Wednesday- Assemble all the components from Everything Wire into one main piece by end of class. Creative Challenge: use only the time given today and all of the bits/pieces you've made. 
• Friday- Start  Big  Decorative Chain Making Unit- info on Ms. Hall's Site

B1 Metals/Fibers IPA Everything Wire Unit

• Tuesday- Complete Chain Challenge 3 (pendent) by end of class
• Thursday- Assemble all the components from Everything Wire into one main piece by end of class. Creative Challenge: use only the time given today and all of the bits/pieces you've made. 

B2 8th Grade Art- Calligraphy Unit (supplies and info give in class)

• Audition for current Vis. Art Majors Update
  • Last day for improvement to be guaranteed a spot is this Sunday 2/12
  • Also complete this Form asap!
• Tuesday- Calligraphy Lowercase packet work day 2/2
• Thursday- Submit Calligraphy Rehearse Assignment on Canvas  and Intro Calligraphy Project

B4 Ceramics IPA- More Cups Unit

• Tuesday- Cup 2 Panning Due, Project adding 2 more work days Due at end of week
• Thrusday- Cup 2 Project due at end of class.
