General Announcements

• Student Art Show is up and running from now through December 12th- Closing Reception will be that night from 5:15-6:15 with the Piano Recital to finish out the night. 

Class Work

A1/A2 Ceramics Beginning- Shape and Form Unit

• Turn in Coil Project 2 on Canvas and put in kiln room but keep it wrapped
• Tuesday Complete Planning for Shape Project PLANNING- and start Project (Keep simple- should be completed before Fall Break)
• Thursday: All Blocking out of 3D Tile Project done and assembled
• Monday: Refining and adding details (basic finishing)- due by end of class

A3 Sculpture IPA- Paper Project 2 Planning

• Tuesday and Thursday: Book Nook Project work days (extended to work days 10 days)
• Tuesday: Project Critique

B1 Metals/Fibers IPA- Fiber Arts Coaster Experiment Unit

• Goal Complete 2 coasters by the end of the before Fall Break (keep checking here for updates on this unit- will probably modify some requirements to make sure we get through the unit and big project by the end of the quarter/semester)

B2 8th Grade Art- Value Unit

• Monday: Continue Value Packet Page 3.
• Wednesday finish and submit all 3 value pages, start on Shattered Value Project.
• Friday: Shattered Value project due at end of class
• Tuesday: Project Critique

B4 Ceramics IPA- Coil Project Planning
Complete by the end of the week

• Monday: Continue Coil Project Work Day, demo
• Wednesday: Coil Project work Day
• Friday: Coil Project due at end of class
• Monday: 1 Day Ceramic Project (Due by end of class)
