Last Week of Midterms

Note about Grades

I'm working as diligently as possible to get grades all finalized for all sections. If you submitted work through Canvas- it's all currently gradeded. If I asked you to email me anything, that will get evaluated by the end of the day Tuesday at the latest. 
8th Grade Midterm notes:

  • Check Canvas and Parent Square for Confirmed Results Wednesday
    
  • Complete 8th Grade Visual Arts Continuation Form
• If you passed both parts of your midterm then you can automatically continue onto high school at NWSA. Parents please fill out this form asap so we can be ready for next year. 
  
• If students earn less than 80% on either component I'll contact everyone via Canvas and ParentSquare about next steps for improving score to passing to be able to remain at NWSA for high school.

CLasswork

Ceramics Beginning- Monday Study time for other exams, Wednesday Great Pottery Throw Down. In general this week is time to get caught up with glazing, work on free mini projects, get things reset for next Quarter. 
Sculpture IPA- Monday complete exam, Wednesday Big Fiber Arts Project work day.
AP Art History- Tuesday go over what to expect next quarter. Friday Writing Workshop
8th Grade Art- Tuesday Shading Exercise, Friday complete mini Shading Project
Ceramics IPA- Complete Midterm on Tuesday. Make Practice Cup on Friday
Homeroom- Friday when we'll go over ReadabilityLab.xyz
