Friday May 17 = Last day for Late/Regrade work- even if absent! and submitting anything that needs to be fired for Ceramics- if it's not in the kiln room by end of day it's too late!
Last day of Regular Classes Wed 5/22 (B Day) and Thru 5/23 (A Day)
- Take everything home by then! otherwise it will be considered abandoned and thrown out to make room for next year's work
Exams days - June 7th: Testing Schedule (will be blue when link's active
- Review materials will be posted by Thursday May 16th for each class listed below.
- School will be on early release schedule
  - Pay attention to what exams are on which days
  - ONLY students earn 80%+ on practice exam and have 80%+ in class overall, AND don't need to make up seat time - don't need to show up on the exam day (still counts as a regular school day for attendance though)

- Requirements:
  - Create Box Base (demo in class)
  - Add a Slits-Slot Tree (trace)
  - Add Basic House (Trace)
  - Embellish with all the other basic techniques seen in the link above.
  - Creative Challenge: Create a theme and/or decorate the box interior

Thursday: Finish African Masks with Clay works - brainstorm designs for warm up and then Underglaze. Submit images of your mask and warm up to the African Mask Project assignment on Canvas by end of class.

Student Art Show Opening: Tuesday 3/26 6:30-8:30 in the Auditorium Gallery.
End of Quarter is Thursday- Last Friday was the last day for late/regrade work.
Grading will be updated in Canvas Monday and Tuesday. If scores are not matching between Canvas and PowerSchool by Wednesday, let Ms. Schmit know which scores specifically and for which class/section ;-)
Friday No School for Students and next week is spring break! See you on April 8th!

Work time for todya

Everyone needs to stay in assigned seats today.
Everyone must submit an image of whatever you worked on today the last 10 minutes of class. Otherwise you'll receive a "0" and will need to make it up by coming in during Homeroom.
Remember if you choose to make up work for my class instead of working on your project...
1. Submit an image/description of what you accomplished
2. You will need to make up missed sculpting time during Homeroom. (no extra days will be added)
