Ceramics and Sculpture IPA - Bust Sculpting Video

• Tue 4/14: Bust Project Sculpting Day 1/7 - have armature covered with clay by end of class
• Thur. 4/16 : Bust Project Sculpting Day 2/7 - mass-in features (bonus if you build them hollow)
• Mon 4/20 : Bust Project Sculpting Day 3/7 - refine massing of features (Day 1/2)
• Wed 4/22 : Bust Project Sculpting Day 4/7 - refine details of features (Day 2/2)
• Fri 4/24: Bust Project Sculpting Day 5/7 - Sculpt out hair (mass out hollow if needed)
• Tues 4/28: Bust Project Sculpting Day 6/7 - Flex day - use as catchup day or for extra refining
• Thur. 4/30: Bust Project Final Day 7/7! Prep for firing - Remove armature, thin out clay walls to 1/2 in thick and even throughout the project, make sure no air pockets are trapped!, clean up base so it sits un-supported, sign (inside towards the bottom. Place in Kiln room to start drying out. NOTE: last day to place in kiln room for firing is FRIDAY MAY 15th (this is a hard deadline so there it time for it to dry out and get fired before the end of the school year).

Photography IPA

• Mon 4/13: Research Pinhole Unit READ everything in linked document and make a copy of it. Complete research and basic design by end of class today
• Wed 4/15: Camera build day 1/2
• Fri 4/17: Camera Build day 2/2
• Tue 4/21: Camera obscura and Disposable camera Photo Shoot Day 1/2(pair up, each gets 1/2 of total images), we will be developing them in the dark room with our guest artist on Monday 4/27
• Thur. 4/23: Disposable camera photo shoot day 2/2; won't be able to take images after today unless you get your own film ;-)
• Mon. 4/27: Jen Crickenburger's Visit - plan on being in dark room G 328

Printmaking IPA

• Mon 4/13: Printmaking Deep Dive Assignment Q4 - Read ENTIRE Doc before Starting AND make a copy of the document!;  Rotation Assignments ; Mono Printing Instructions
• Wed. 4/15: Continue Printmaking Deep Dive, Mono Printing Intro/demo Rotation 1 will get their mono printing done today. 
• Friday 4/17: Continue Printmaking Deep Dive, and Mono Printing - Rotation 2 complete prints by end of class
• Tues 4/20: Continue Printmaking Deep Dive, and Mono Printing - Rotation 3 complete prints by end of class
• Thurs. 4/22: Final Printmaking Deep Dive work day and Make up day for Mono Printing. 

Homeroom/SEL-

• Monday: Ms. S Check's Folders and gives feedback - everyone in assigned homeroom - no exceptions 
• Tuesday-Thursday: "Pull Outs", School Work, or Silent Reading (make sure your name is on a list otherwise you'll be marked absent if not in the room.
• Friday: "Empowerment Hub" and fill out Folder Sheet - everyone in assigned homeroom - exceptions ​
