Ceramics and Sculpture: Portrait or Bust Unit

Tues 2/17: Make armature for Mixed Media Mini Bust and watch demo.
Thurs 2/19: Mixed Media Mini Bust Work Day - Round 1 complete theirs by end of class
Mon 2/23: Mixed Media Mini Bust Work Day - Round 2 complete theirs by end of class
Wed 2/25: MMM Bust Catch up day (if absent); Intro and start planning for Ceramic Bust Project
Fri 2/27: Planning for Bust Project Due at end of class

Photography IPA

Wed 2/18: Intro to Cyanotype - Toning day, created 4 toned cyanotypes with one of those cyanotypes including selective toning
Fri 2/20: Continue planning and working on your Final project, if there is sun start printing, double check if you need to wash any cyanotypes, if you need to create cyanotype paper/fabric do that as well. Bring items you want to print for Tuesday
Tues 2/24: Start working on Final project and printing today! The weather is looking good that day so bring in the items you want to print!
Thurs 2/26: Working on Final, washing any cyanotypes. Weather is not looking good today so do a majority of your printing Tuesday 2/24

Printmaking IPA - Same as Photography ;-)
Sculpture IPA - Same as Ceramics ;-)

Homeroom/SEL-

Monday: Ms. S Check's Folders and gives feedback - everyone in assigned homeroom - no exceptions
Tuesday-Thursday: "Pull Outs", School Work, or Silent Reading (make sure your name is on a list otherwise you'll be marked absent if not in the room.
Friday: "Empowerment Hub" and fill out Folder Sheet - everyone in assigned homeroom - exceptions

Request google form- Complete this Google Form for next year's classes (only fill out once if you have multiple art classes). You can "fix" if needed but get done asap. Remember this is your chance to request classes.

Ceramics and Sculpture: Portrait or Bust Unit

Tues 2/10: Use the Skull Anatomy Worksheet (for reference) and Slide 7 (info and instructional videos). Last work day in class to complete. Just need to get it "done enough" (have anatomy done as best you can and make fire-able, write name on inside).
Thurs 2/12: Complete Skull Anatomy Quiz on Canvas. Watch and take notes on mini bust mixed media demo.
