    • ​Turn in whatever you have done at this point. Remember you don't have to have it "finished". There will be a "Form Grid Drawing Formal Assignment". The last day to turn it in before it's marked late will be  Monday.

8th Grade Art
  • Monday-Intro to Repousse Unit
    • Get as far as you can with the ​Elements and Principles Booklet Sections should be completed by end of class today to be on track to finish part 1 ontime

  • Tuesday/Wednesday: Setting-up For Successful 2nd Semester
    • Go through PowerPoint. It will open if you're logged in to chrome on your school account. Click link below:

6th Grade Art

8th Grade Art

    • Get as far as you can with the ​Elements and Principles Booklet Sections (listed in the unit presentation link above) by end of class- submit images of what you get done for today's Daily Canvas Assignment.

    • Beginning/Intermediate

    • Proficient/Advanced- start creating plans for a bas relief design and explicitly describe how you are incorporating All Elements of Art, Basic Composition knowledge, and will demonstrate Unity between the elements and your Visual Story. (you'll have 3 class periods to work on this- use time effectively!)

  • Wednesday: Mandala Critique- instructions will be given in class
    1. ​Make sure you have something turned in for the Mandala Project
    2. Click on the "critique" link above. Watch and take notes on both critique videos. Turn notes in for daily progress image.
    3. Use the critique handout to guide your comment on 2 peer's Mandala Projects in canvas. Recommend writing it in a google doc then you can just copy and paste it into the comment.

  • Monday - Last day to submit your Elements Booklet during class
    • Almost all of the Booklets turned in were not submitted following the directions on the assignment. Here are videos to help you through the process.
